I totally forgot that younger fans may not get the connection. These pop music videos were actually still pretty popular at the time blink already made fun of them. They were on tv the same time, which was freaking hilarious
OMG I always forget that too!!! Basically the entirety of the ATST video was making fun of contemporary pop idols and their videos. It’s amazing, I guess the meaning has gotten lost some without seeing those videos around all the time…
